750 crores will be spent on 44 km long road

Madhya Pradesh Road Development Corporation will select the company to do the work of Indore-Ujjain six lane project by July.
The tender process for this has been completed and the tenders of the companies have come.
This 44 kilometer long road is estimated to cost around Rs 750 crore.

In view of Simhastha, the state government intends to complete the said project as soon as possible, so that the visiting devotees do not get disturbed.

According to the source, MPRDC General Manager Rakesh Jain said that Indore-Ujjain six lane road is to be built from Aurobindo Hospital to Harifatak in Ujjain.
This state highway, which is being built 45 meters wide, does not require much land, hence the work can be done quickly.
MPRDC will take the contract and give the agency a time limit of two years to complete the work.
